Matthew 9: 6 But
that you will know that the Son of Man has power to forgive sins on earth (then
He said to the paralyzed): Get up, take your bed and go to your house.
Why can we always
see people on our own? At times we get into trouble or if it's completely
countered, we'll forget about everything. When sickness or mourning comes on
our way, we tend to creep in our shell. As we were, we were getting deeper into
the well. And even we do not even get out of it. That's also true in faith,
when we see ourselves and try it all, it becomes a drama. We need the Spirit of
God to be blessed and we must settle our eyes on Christ.
Just like the
crippled man against whom Jesus says, your sins are forgiven. The people around
Jesus accuse Him of blasphemy. But Jesus shows who He is. He does not only
forgive his sins but also heals his illness. The man then walks away, with
healthy legs and above all forgiven sins!
Thus, we must establish
our eyes on Jesus. Jesus is the One who sees our pain, who knows us sorrow, who
knows us through and over. We can see Him to take away our pain, we can hide
with Him if we are having trouble and He will be near us. After all, he has all
the power!
It is great to know Jesus and to know that we can put everything down to Him!
